Getting to St. Thomas and Point Pleasant Resort

St. Thomas is one of approximately 100 jewel-like islands that dot the blue waters of the northern Caribbean Sea. Along with the islands of St. John, St. Croix, and Water Island, they comprise the U.S. Virgin Islands, an unincorporated territory of the United States. St. Thomas is located about 1,100 miles southeast of Miami, Florida. A U.S. passport is not required for U.S. citizens.
The St. Thomas airport is Cyril E. King Airport (STT), located about 30 minutes southwest of Point Pleasant Resort. There are direct daily flights from several U.S. cities and a few international airports as well as several direct flights from neighboring Caribbean countries and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. An abundance of taxis is waiting outside of baggage claim or you may arrange private transportation from the airport to the resort.
